Local Spotlight: Fork in the Rose

Local spotlight: Fork in the Rose

As a combined café and florist, Fork in the Rose is a unique gem nestled in the heart of Newcastle. The café only recently opened but has quickly become a firm favourite for its delicious food and coffee, and beautiful floral surroundings. Plus, it’s dog friendly!

We talk to Director and Florist, Gemma Pringle.

Since August.

What is your favourite thing about running a small business?

Meeting customers and being able to chat on a more personal level. Each customer gets a feel for who we are and what we love to do.

What does quality mean to you?

We strongly believe in providing quality over quantity. We use organic milk, Block & Bottle for our meat supply, not just for the quality but also animal welfare. Every product we put out is of the best quality we can get and ethically sourced.

With OCC coffee of course!
