We are recruiting a Milkman and a Part Time Processing Plant Operative.

Job Description- Acorn Dairy Full Time Milkman Man
This role forms part of a six person night shift team delivering our milk and other goods to customers in the Darlington area six nights a week. You will be serving to up to 400 customers a night.
Hours 10pm- 6am Sunday- Friday including bank holidays. £35 bank holiday bonus.
34 days holiday (Four to be taken on 25th and 26th Dec, 1st and 2nd Jan.)
Good mental maths, proven reliability, clean driving licence and good knowledge of local area required. Experience of driving 3.5T vans preferred.
This is a physical role which requires a good level of fitness. The role involves lifting. Training provided in route guidance, manual handling and paperwork handling.
You should be someone who is happy working in your own company, in all weathers.
Salary: £18,000
Successful applicant will ideally be available to commence training as soon as possible/ mid May- some flexibility on this.
Once the route and procedures are learnt, this is a healthy, low stress role, supported by a day time administration office and out of hours breakdown assistance.

Job Description- Acorn Dairy Processing Plant Cover Person
This role forms part of a strong, five person team processing and bottling/ packing our organic milk.
You will be working at Archdeacon Newton, DL2 2YB (Info:10min cycle ride from Cockerton.) This is an indoor, non driving role. You do not require a driving licence to fulfil this post. The role physical and requires a good level of fitness and focus. Good basic mental maths ideal. You will receive full training in processing plant procedures and manual handling.
Hours 7am- until the day production is complete (normally 2pm.) Mon- Friday including bank holidays. A £35 bonus is paid for bank holidays worked.
You will provide holiday cover for a minimum of 25 weeks of the year and also short notice sickness cover. You should be able to show proven reliability.
Salary: £15,360
Successful applicant will be available to commence training as soon as possible.
Historically the person fulfilling this role is offered full time positions within the team as they become available.
